Last week ACI staff completed the first week of Climate Adaptation & Resilience Training (CART) Program provided by ClimAtlantic!

The comprehensive and foundational CART program is helping to fill growing employment needs related to climate adaptation across the Atlantic region. Aquatic Conservation Initiative is apart of a Newfoundland and Labrador cohort aiming to increase our skills in climate adaptation and resilience specific to our province. We are enrolled for 12-weeks in this exciting and informative new program!

We look forward to applying course materials in future projects related to increasing community capacity for coastal adaptation and mitigation in the face of climate change as we experience increased precipitation, storm surges, flooding, and coastal erosion.
