Fruit Tree Planting – Victoria Park

Fruit Tree Planting at Victoria went great thanks to our lovely volunteers.We planted 3 blueberry bushes, 3 black currant bushes, 2 summer crisp pear trees, and 1 large chuckly pear in the surrounding areas of the Victoria Park Community Garden Space!

Thank you Murray’s Garden Centre for the trees and tips, and the City of St. John’s for helping us pick our planting spot! Fruit trees and bushes were purchased using the provincially funded Community Garden Support Program!
